Registration


Welcome to the 2022 Junior Rugby season!


Returning Players: Every TRFC player from the 2021 season will receive a personalised registration link.  If you haven’t received an email already please check your Junk Mail folder first, and then email juniors@takapunarugby.co.nz to let us know.


All Rippa Rugby & Tackle Rugby players will need to visit the Club on one of our pre-season “Weigh-In” evenings to be weighed.


New Players: If you are new to rugby, or new to Takapuna Rugby, then you will need to complete a registration form.  You will also need to provide proof of age (Birth Certificate or Passport); to ensure your child is graded appropriately.


There are two options to register:

  • Complete the online form here, and then come along to one of the “Weigh-In” evenings to weigh in
  • Come to the Club on one of our “Weigh-In” evenings and complete the same online registration form at the clubrooms – so save yourself some time and effort and do it at home or work!

Registered player(s) MUST attend a "Weigh-In" in order to complete the registration process. This is especially important for grade allocation. We need to ensure your child is placed in the appropriate grade - even if you played at Takapuna last year!

How much are Subs? 1 child playing = $120, 2 children playing = $205, 3 children playing = $240.


Payment methods

We accept the following payment methods; however online payments are preferred.


(1) Online Payments:

  • ​Once you have completed the first page of the registration form, you will be directed to a payment page.
  • If you are paying online for more than 1 player, you MUST still register each player individually.
  • If you are paying online for more than 1 player, you only need to pay the applicable fee ONCE for the FIRST player you are registering. Include the first & last names of all other players who are included in this payment in the appropriate field on the registration form.
  • Once you have registered the 1st player & paid the applicable fee, include the 1st player's first & last name on the additional player(s) registration form(s) as the payment reference.


(2) Internet Banking:

  • Account Name: Takapuna Rugby Football Club Inc
  • Account number: ANZ 01-0137-0048507-000
  • Please ensure you use the following "Reference Format": Last Name_First Name_Subs_Jnr
  • Example: Barker John Subs Jnr

(3) EFTPOS:

  • The club has 2 EFTPOS terminals (1 mobile & 1 fixed)
  • Please be aware that we have noted substantial queuing for EFTPOS payments in previous years, hence online payments are preferred.
  • These will only be available on the “Weigh-In”  Days to accept payments.


(4) Cash:

  • Cash payments will only be accepted on the “Weigh-In” Days.
