 Legalities of an Incorporated Society

​​​​​​​Takapuna Rugby are an Incorporated Society and our most recent Constitution has been uploaded and approved in accordance with the new Society’s Terms, Conditions and Regulations. Membership is an important factor in being able to retain our Society status and whilst we have been close to getting it right over the years it is critical that commencing from 2026 we are 100% complying and following the correct procedures. In order to maintain a Register/Database of our Members, everyone will need to fill out the form (at the below link) – this also means that rather than paper Membership Cards, once you’ve confirmed you’re a 2026 “Taka Backer” we’ll send you instructions to download the App and you’ll have your own Electronic Membership Card.  (and if all the other Clubs are doing what they’re supposed to, when you visit they should be asking to view this). A lot to read and to break down in easy steps 

  1. Fill out the 100Club Membership from the link
  2. We will be able to take Online Payments by the end of the Month but in the interim
  3. Pay direct to our Bank Account ANZ 01 0137 0048507 00 using your Name and 100Club as a Reference
  4. You can still pay at the Club but we will need you to still complete the Online Form
  5. We will send instructions to download the App for your Membership card before the start of the Season
  6. A reminder that all Taka Backers Spouse’s/Partners automatically become Members of TRFC.  The form includes a section to add their names so they too can receive a Membership Card.  It is not mandatory to fill this out but would appreciate it if you can.

100CLUB INFORMATION

We would like to remind you that the Draw is held EVERY weekend during the Season.

1. For Premier Home games the Draw will be made immediately after the After Match Speeches.  (approximately 5.35pm)

2. For Away games the Draw will remain at 6.00pm

3. Each number has to have ONE individuals name and that person must be present to win

4. Winner must be present to claim the monetary prize.

5. Payment must be made in full to be eligible

Takapuna Rugby has a proud history of success and support.  We are an iconic Facility and are afforded a great deal of respect in the Community when wearing our traditional Blue and Gold.  Many of you have spent countless hours and dollars to keep us financially viable and ask that you continue to do so with our commitment to you being that every dollar donated is allocated to what will best benefit Takapuna Rugby Football Club.

LAWS REGARDING MEMBERS AND GUESTS TO SPORTS CLUBS

  • We understand that many of you have been coming to the Club for years as the wife/husband/partner of a Member and acknowledge this support however if you are not one of the following you WILL/MUST sign in:
    • Paid Member of the Club
    • Life Member (includes Partner/Wife)
    • Registered Player of the Club
    • Registered Coach of the Club (includes Wife/Partner)
    • Parent(s) / Guardian(s) of a Registered Junior Player 
    • Visiting Player or Official with reciprocal rights
    • 100Club Member (includes Wife/Partner)
    • Gold squad (including Wife/Partner) Member
    • Major Sponsor or contributor to the Club
  • It is a legal requirement for ALL patrons entering and using the facilities of a Club (not just Rugby Clubs) to either be a Member, be a guest of a Member or have reciprocal visiting rights.  PLEASE NOTE:This is not a TRFC policy it is the Law.​​​​​​​
  • All Members paying a Memebership fee agree to abide by TRFC's Memeber Terms and Conditions set out in the Clubs Constitution.  A copy can be requested by emailing manager@takapunarugby.co.nz
