It is with much sadness that we let our Takapuna Rugby Committee know of the passing yesterday morning of one of our Life Members, John Hopkinson.

Takapuna Rugby was a huge part of John's life and he will be remembered with respect and admiration for the part he played in shaping our young players lives.

The Clubrooms are open this afternoon if anyone would like to come on down, though John has lived in Perth for some years he would be delighted to think that some of his "charges" had a beer or two for him!Much condolences to Rex, Bronwyn, Mark and their families including the lifelong friends John made over the years.
